EVENT POSTPONED – As soon as his diary allows, we will re-book and announce a new date.
After the Labour Party conference – when proportional representation was on the agenda – the Norwich South MP will reflect on what was decided and what comes next for the pro-democracy movement.
No Labour MP has been a more high-profile proponent of proportional representation than MP Clive Lewis. So it is no surprise that we have invited Clive to be our guest for a Zoom session after this year’s Labour Party conference.
We have asked Clive to chat with us about three questions:
- What are your main “take aways” from Labour’s deliberations on PR?
- Where are we now in the campaign for PR?
- What do you see as the strategic path ahead for those campaigning for electoral reform?
Knowing Clive, we expect he will spend most of the time answering your questions in his usual up-front fashion.
Clive has been an MP since 2015 and has earned much respect from many in the progressive community for his thoughtful and non-sectarian approach to politics. Back in June 2020, Clive was our first Zoom guest speaker. He visited us again in November 2020, and in the spring of 2021 we made a video with him on, of course, the need for electoral reform.
We are anticipating a good turnout for Clive’s third visit. Attendance is limited.
